About this artwork

All is well, Frida

Reimagining Frida Kahlo's 'Dedicated to Dr Eloesser' which she painted with fungal-infected, hurting hands after separating from Diego Rivera (husband) that put her in a depressive state—a testament to her resilience.

I placed her fungal-infected hands over her heart to remind her of the tumultuous times she survived and that she can do it again—All is well, Frida!

Dusk becomes dawn
Thorns yield to flowers
Hurting hands calm the heart
Time is the artist; healing, the masterpiece
