the inspiration

Two Vincents

Inspired by Vincent Van Gogh’s “Irises”, this piece depicts the duality of existence, where hope and despair coexist within the same soul.

The two irises, one blue and the other white, embody the different facets of Vincent's inner world—his struggles and his hopes. The two figures are in dialogue with their realities, yet always looking towards a brighter horizon. This artwork is a meditation on the human condition, where our paths are shaped by our darkest moments and our brightest dreams.
